What level of taming do I need to tame a horse?

I'm at 20 taming and I can't seem to tame a horse. How much more do I need to level taming before I can tame one?

• There are a lot of factors when it comes to taming. The level of the creature you’re trying to tame, your taming level, your animal lore level and whether it’s in mercy mode or not. I’ve successfully tamed a level 40 jungle horse at level 25 taming with it in mercy mode. It took maybe 7-8 tries before I got it. I have level 30 taming now and it’s a lot easier. My Equidae Lore is in the 70s.

  So level 25-40 taming and a decently high equidae lore should get you taming horses. Pick up Animal Control if you want to tame higher level horses.
