I'm not getting expected resources from butchering

I created an alt, leveled it to clade level 2, got the heck out of Haven and went straight to Jungle Camp. Problem is, I'm not getting any meat or tallow from Sators or Snapping Turtles. What the heck am I missing?

• Herptile Meat Lore requires either Flesh Lore 50 or 60. That's most likely you're problem. Level that up with something easier(bores, pigs, etc.) and it will auto learn!
